Spotkanie Poznań JUG: How to create a startup?
We cordially invite you to the next Poznan JUG meeting co-hosted with Fourthwal
Walker Williams will present the topic “Lessons of Silicon Valley Startups”
Maciej Kowalski and Will Baumann will present the topic “You have the idea - now, how do you build your platform from there?”
TBA - If you would like to apply for a presentation, please contact [masked]
Abstract:
Lessons of Silicon Valley Startups - Walker Williams will discuss his experience creating his first startup, receiving that first venture capital investment, scaling from idea to a company, and differences from his first startup to his second one.
You have the idea - now, how you build your platform from there - Maciej and Will will review the process of turning an idea into reality from a technology standpoint. Should you launch your infrastructure on AWS or GCP? Where should you host your code and pipelines? Is it better to start with microservices or build a monolith? What's the best programming language to use? And to what degree do these decisions even matter?
