Pykonik Tech Talks #61
This time we will host the following talks:
[EN] Vladimir "vovcia" Mitiouchev - Embedded Python
For years, embedded programming was perceived as difficult, and required knowledge of C and sometimes assembly. Nowadays, we can not only have simpler C with Arduino, but also high-level languages like JavaScript and Python. In this lecture, we will start our adventure with embedded programming in Python on popular platforms: Raspberry Pico (not Raspberry Pi!) and Espressif ESP32, and we will answer a few questions:
- What is the difference between MicroPython and CircuitPython?
- How to run the I2C bus?
- Which PULL for Hall sensor?
And a lot more!
Vladimir "vovcia" Mitiouchev - Systems architect, Python developer, co-founder of CLUG.
2nd Talk - TBA
Lightning Talks
a lightning talk is a short (usually 5min) talk, that's basically an open mic session – you can just come up to the stage during the event and present something for five minutes (ideally something related to Python).
If you'd like to do a lightning talk – just talk to the organisers during the event, (or on discord) – we will be also asking about it from stage during the event.
We already have a few very interesting lightning talks confirmed so be sure to check that part of the event :)
We will also have pizza & drinks. Our meeting details can also be found on our website, where you can sign up to give a talk at the next meeting:
