Java RAG made easy with SpringAI and Elasticsearch
Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) can be a useful tool to turn a generic chatbot into a specialized expert in any desired subject, even with data that must remain private. Java isn't the first language people think of when tackling AI related projects because of the lack of frameworks, and here's where Spring comes to the rescue, with a new AI dedicated library that leverages the power of vector stores such as Elasticsearch to provide an easy and intuitive experience for building AI applications. Expect just a bit of theory and decent chunk of practice through a live demo.
Speaker: Laura Trotta, Software Engineer @Elastic
(Integration) Testing with Elasticsearch
You might have heard something about Elasticsearch and how it’s great for search. Maybe you're even considering improving the search functionality in your project but aren’t quite sure where to start. Join me for a lecture with few slides and plenty of code that demonstrates how to integrate Elasticsearch into your project through efficient integration tests.
