There’s more to the ‘Sec’ in DevSecOps than simply adding security checks at some point in your DevOps process; to be effective, there needs to be a fundamental shift-left approach to Security, but equally important, the ability to support the ever-increasing drive towards improving speed and quality of delivery.
In this session, we’ll explore the elements required to deliver a robust DevSecOps process, and see how these are facilitated by GitLab to support cycle time compression without compromising security or increasing risk.

Adrian started his career as a systems programmer digging around in the depths of compilers and the Unix kernel, moving on to the provision of training and consulting activities based around ‘open systems’ and relational database technologies.
From this platform, he became responsible for managing the development and deployment of many complex mission-critical applications, ranging from commercial to embedded and real-time systems. This includes the adoption of continuous integration and deployment methodologies long before the terms came to the fore.
